The IA10 Website and material relating to IA10 information, products and services (or to third party information products or services) is (save where the contrary is expressly stated) provided 'as is', without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.
CESG does not warrant that the functions contained in the material contained in this site will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or represent the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the materials. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damages whatsoever arising from use or loss of use of, data or profits arising out of or in connection with the use of the CESG website.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Background
EHS 4D has been engaged by CESG to manage the delegate booking arrangements (which are described below) for the conference.
1. EHS 4D will accept bookings by receipt of a completed registration form.
2. Upon the communication by EHS 4D to you of its acceptance of your booking there shall be a contract between EHS 4D and you to which these terms apply.
3. The fee for each delegate will include one place at the conference.
4. Definitions of Packages:
Full Delegate:
This includes entrance to the 2 day conference, access to the exhibition hall, all refreshments and lunch.
The networking dinner on 14 September 2010 is a free optional extra for conference attendees. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
5. The fee does not include travel to or from the conference venue, accommodation or any other sundry costs incurred.
6. Accommodation is not included within your conference registration fee. However, a special rate of £129 plus VAT, B & B, single occupancy, has been negotiated for IA10 conference delegates at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. Please call the hotel directly on 0844 415 6780 (Monday – Friday 8.00am – 7.00pm; Saturday 9.00am – 5.00pm) to reserve and pay for your room. YOU MUST REFERENCE THE BOOKING CODE ‘IA2010’ TO QUALIFY FOR THE ABOVE RATE.
We reserve the right to run the conference at a different venue from the one specified if necessary. If this should be the case, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide travel directions, accommodation information etc.
7. A valid, government issued photo ID is required for entrance into the conference (for example passport or photo driving license). Guests must present photo ID on both days of the conference.
8. All cancellations must be made in writing to cesg-events@eurorscgskybridge.com
You are permitted to cancel your place at the conference without charge within 7 days of being sent this confirmation notice.
Thereafter, if you are unable to attend, you may substitute a colleague to take your place, subject to approval by CESG, at any point up until 7 working days prior to the conference (at which point substitutions cannot be accommodated). You must submit the name change request in writing to the CESG event team.
If you are unable to attend, and are not in a position to transfer your place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:
- Registrations cancelled more than 60 days before the conference will be refunded 80% of the registration fees.
- Registrations cancelled less than 60 but more than 30 days before the conference will be refunded 50% of the registration fees.
- Registrations cancelled less than 30 days before the conference will not be eligible for a refund.
9. In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of EHS 4D to alter the content, venue, speaker or the date and timing of the conference. To the extent permitted by law there will be no associated liability whatsoever to the conference organisers and hosts, EHS 4D or any individuals affiliated with the conference or EHS 4D in any capacity. All participants will be notified in advance of such changes.
10. In the event that this conference is cancelled by EHS 4D for any reason within the control of EHS 4D, a full refund priced at the time of booking will be paid to you, with no additional liability whatsoever to the conference organisers, hosts or EHS 4D or any individuals affiliated with the conference or EHS 4D in any capacity.
11. If the conference is postponed or cancelled for reasons beyond the direct control of EHS 4D, (circumstances include, the failure of the hotel to deliver its services, Acts of God, industrial (Union) action, acts of terrorism, risk of infection from disease, anything liable to compromise public health, safety or civil disorder), your booking will be transferred to a revised date for the conference. The terms listed here will apply to all transferred bookings. If the conference is cancelled, your fees will be refunded to you.
12. Conference participants are responsible for taking appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. To the full extent permitted by law, the conference organisers and hosts, EHS 4D or any individuals associated with the conference or EHS 4D in any capacity shall not be liable for any kind of loss or damage to personal property, delegates or exhibitors, unless caused by our negligence.
13. Under VAT Excise regulations delegates from all countries are required to pay VAT on all events taking place in the United Kingdom. This will be calculated on the prevailing rate based on date of booking.
14. Photography and Recording. EHS 4D reserve the right to film and photograph the conference and attending people to use for publicity at a future date.
15. By registering for the conference, each delegate consents to its agent EHS 4D processing the specific information contained on the form, whether sent by fax, by post or via the internet. By completing and returning your registration, you are giving your consent that the personal data contained therein may be used to assist CESG in supporting you and your organisation through the provision of advice and consultancy, to inform you of relevant events, to manage any enquiries or complaints, to manage the issue of any documentation you may request and to administer your membership of any CESG schemes. Please note that we may request a contractor to support CESG in these activities and process the data on our behalf. However, use of your personal data will only be authorised for the purposes indicated above and will be lawfully processed according to the Data Protection Act 1998.
We will be sharing your name, title and company information only with other conference participants. Should you prefer that we do not share this information please email cesg-events@eurorscgskybridge.com
16. These terms contain the entire agreement between you and EHS 4D.
17. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions will continue in full force and effect as if the terms had been executed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision omitted. Any express or implied waiver to perform any obligations under these terms will not prevent the subsequent enforcement of them. A person who is not a party to these terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these terms.
18. These terms shall be governed by English law and you hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Nothing in this clause shall limit our right to take proceedings against you in any other court of competent jurisdiction.
